Villa Gajah Putih
Gajah Putih was built as a family
vacation home by an Italian clothing magnate
over twenty years ago. Much of the layout and
materials were decided personally by him to
create a beachfront estate of magnificent ascetics
and proportions. The same effort went into the
choosing of the staff. Hospitality comes naturally
to the Balinese and other natives of the Indonesian
archipelago. Pleasure is taken when introducing
its rich and diverse history to visitors from
distant shores.
With its old world design and impressive hand
selected collection of Asian antiques and fabrics,
Villa Gajah Putih is truly one of Bali's finest
luxury estates.
The Staff
* One Villa
Manager: meets and greets guests on arrival,
leads the staffing team to meet the expectations
of their each guests.The wonderful Ibu Raty
is the Villa Manger, a position she has held
for over twenty years. She greets guests with
a cheerful smile and jovial nature ensuring
that they have the vacation they desire. She
is accustomed to looking after visitors and
celebrities from around the world, making sure
that each guest's individual needs and desires
are met.
* Six Villa Attendants:
in charge of housekeeping and laundry.
* Two Cooks: trained
in local and Western cuisine and in charge of
shopping as well as preparing meals. Gajah Putih's
cooks have been personally taught by some of
the best Italian Chefs in Indonesia.
* Two Waiters:
responsible for the dining experience, providing
waiter service and assistance to the cook.
* One Driver: offers
chauffeur service to guests for up to 10 consecutive
hours per day.
* Three Security Guards:
on-duty to ensure the safety and security of
the guests and the whole area.
* Six Gardeners &
Pool Attendant: works discreetly in maintaining
the landscape and the pool without distracting
the guests.
Accommodations
The villa is set on a gorgeous
sprawling property, the gardens of which have
been maturing for over a decade. To the left
of the building is an immense vegetable garden,
large yard, and tennis court. Between the main
structure and the beach is a swimming pool and
indoor sauna set within a manicured lawn strewn
with coconut palms and two relaxation bales.
The gated villa entrance has ample parking
and a security post to guard guard one’s
interests whilst ensuring one’s safety.
This six-bedroom villa and its immense property
have the spectacular attribute of being set
directly on the beach, and the ocean view enhances
the enticing attributes of this prime estate.
Dining
Room
The first area is the dining room, which boasts
a massive teak table that seats twelve and looks
out over the blooming gardens to the ocean.
The fully equipped kitchen is set off to the
side of the dining room and can be reached by
way of a small bridge. The main dining room
table seats fourteen people for formal dining,
all served elegantly by the staff.
Owing to the owner’s love
of fine food, the cooks at the villa are both
talented and versatile, offering guests a large
choice of delectable meals to enjoy during their
stay. Many of the fresh ingredients used for
cooking are gathered daily from the villa’s
organic vegetable and herb garden.
Bedrooms
Each of the six bedrooms consists of an enclosed
air-conditioned room with its own en suite bathroom.
The floors and ceilings are made of ironwood,
and each of the bedrooms have at least one glass
wall overlooking the ocean-side gardens of the
estate. All of the en suite bathrooms are floored
and walled with caramel marble, and have screened-windows
overlooking the front gardens.
